How to Properly Feed Your Cat?
Your cat's health directly depends on the food you provide and the frequency of feeding. A balanced diet is one of the most important factors affecting a cat's health, and it’s a critical aspect that pet owners should pay close attention to.

- To feed your cat properly, you should weigh both your cat and the food. You might think your cat weighs 3kg, but they may actually weigh 3.6kg, and it’s difficult to guess how many grams of dry food fit into a cup or other container.
- Overfeeding or underfeeding can be harmful to your cat’s health and may affect their behavior.
- When feeding dry food, your cat should have access to plenty of fresh water. The daily water intake should be three times the volume of the food portion.
- - It’s recommended to combine dry and wet food from the same manufacturer.
- - If your cat doesn’t have eating disorders or a tendency to overeat, you can leave the entire daily portion available. However, it’s better to divide the food into two meals – morning and evening.
- - If your cat is still growing, it’s advisable to slightly increase the amount of food and divide it into three meals.
- Pregnant and lactating females require more calories and vitamins. The number of feedings per day should be increased to 4–6 times, and portion sizes should be adjusted individually.
- Senior cats should be fed more frequently in smaller portions.
- Overweight cats should be fed smaller portions or given lower-calorie food. The latter option is more cat-friendly.

Benefits of Chérie Products:
ONLY HEALTHY INGREDIENTS ESSENTIAL FOR CAT HEALTH
Peas - Regular consumption of peas helps normalize fat metabolism and reduces fat accumulation in the liver. Due to slow absorption in the intestines, peas prevent the formation of bad cholesterol in the blood. Their low glycemic index (fresh peas: 50 units, dried peas: 25 units) helps stabilize blood glucose levels.

Brown Rice - Brown rice provides essential amino acids, plant proteins, and dietary fiber that aid digestion. It contains B vitamins, crucial for proper nervous system function, hair growth, and skin regeneration.

Dried Pumpkin - Dried pumpkin offers numerous benefits, including supporting prostate health and hormone production. With provitamin A, it helps prevent lung cancer, reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, and strengthens blood vessel walls.

Dried Brewer's Yeast - Known for their anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties, brewer's yeast reduces itching and inflammation. They are a natural product with up to 60% high-quality protein and include vital nutrients like minerals, amino acids, and B vitamins, especially B6 and B12. Brewer's yeast positively affects digestion, intestinal flora, skin, coat, and immunity, while also enhancing appetite.

Lignocellulose This insoluble fiber improves intestinal motility and aids in hairball elimination.

Whole Dried Eggs Classified as a "superfood," eggs are incredibly nutritious and contain almost all essential nutrients (vitamins and minerals). They raise good cholesterol without increasing bad cholesterol and are crucial for vitamin D production and hormone synthesis (e.g., testosterone and estrogen). Eggs are rich in choline, which supports cell membrane construction, brain signaling molecules, insulin regulation, and liver health. They contain lutein and zeaxanthin, antioxidants beneficial for eye health, and provide high-quality protein with a balanced amino acid profile, ensuring satiety without causing weight gain.

Salmon Oil - alleviates itching and dry skin, adds elasticity and shine to the coat, stimulates undercoat growth, normalizes shedding, and aids in correcting nose pigmentation. It is particularly beneficial for young animals during growth and learning periods, enhancing brain activity and cognitive abilities.

Sweet Potato - Contains a significant amount of fiber, which plays a crucial role in digestion, maintaining healthy gut flora, improving peristalsis, and supporting proper food passage through the digestive tract. Sweet potatoes also contain prebiotics, which serve as food for beneficial gut bacteria.

Flax Seeds - provide both soluble and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber helps regulate blood glucose and cholesterol levels, while insoluble fiber normalizes intestinal motility, aiding in conditions like constipation due to its laxative properties.

Dried Chicory A natural source of PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acids) and inulin. Chicory root also contains B vitamins, tannins, carotene, and organic acids, which improve digestion and gut flora. Inulin stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria and enhances calcium absorption.

Psyllium Husk - a safe and multifunctional supplement for pets. Psyllium is a complex molecule composed of three fractions, which determine its properties: increased motility, a feeling of fullness in the stomach, and prebiotic effects.

Dried Antarctic Krill A unique ingredient rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids essential in a cat’s diet.

Mannanoligosaccharides (MOS) - these absorb toxins, improve gut flora and digestion, ensure better nutrient absorption, and reduce the impact of harmful organisms.

Beta-Glucans - derived from natural sources, beta-glucans are widely used in medicine for treating and preventing many diseases. They are potent immunostimulants that enhance immune cell activity, prolong their lifespan, lower blood sugar levels, and improve intestinal motility.

Glucosamine Hydrochloride a beneficial compound for joint health and cartilage maintenance. It supports joint mobility, reduces inflammation, and helps alleviate joint pain.

Chondroitin Sulfate - a natural glycosaminoglycan derived from bovine cartilage. It is a component of cartilage and synovial tissue, providing joint lubrication and tissue elasticity.

Dried Broccoli - this vegetable contains several beneficial antioxidants, including indole-3-carbinol, ascorbate, and sulforaphane. The latter two compounds have a wide range of antibacterial and detoxifying effects, helping prevent various diseases when used together.

Dried Spinach - boosts immunity, is used to address vitamin deficiencies, cleanses the intestines of toxins, alleviates constipation, and normalizes peristalsis.

Dried Tomatoes - tomatoes are rich in vitamin C, potassium, folic acid, and vitamin K. They are a primary source of the powerful antioxidant lycopene, which reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer.

Dried Cranberries - Cranberries benefit the cardiovascular system by strengthening blood vessel walls, improving their elasticity, and enhancing blood circulation. They are helpful for urinary tract infections, acting as a natural antibiotic to combat harmful bacteria and viruses. Cranberries also positively affect the nervous system, skin, and coat, helping remove harmful substances, cholesterol, and heavy metals from the body. Additionally, they support oral health by promoting healthy teeth and gums.

Dried Blueberries - blueberries strengthen the nervous system, have a calming effect, and are beneficial for heart and lung function, kidney health, and gastrointestinal disorders.

Dried Apples - improve intestinal motility and act as a prebiotic. They contain pectin, which helps stabilize metabolism.
